JAMMU, Mar 10: Symposium was organized at GDC Thannamandi on the topic “Truth and Non-Violence” with the collaboration of J&K Gandhi Global family.
DR B B Sharma, Principal of College was chief guest. Dr A R Qadri, HoD Urdu, Bashir Ahmed Shawal a member from J&K Global family, faculty members and students were present in the programme.
As many as 13 students participated in the symposium and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions were secured by Srikesh Menon, Danish Mir and Safeer Ahmed.
Sajjad Kutay, lecturer in Islamic Studies, Sawan Kumar, Lecturer in English and Atul Sharma, Lecturer in History were the adjudicators on the occasion.
Dr B B Sharma, Principal of College highlighted Gandhian views “ My Experiment with the Truth “ ,while Dr. A.R. Qadri HoD Urdu and Bashir Ahmed Shawal also expressed their views on the topic.
