JAMMU, Oct 14: GDC Udhampur and MBS College today won their respective matches in the ongoing Inter Collegiate football (Men) Tournament, being organized by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.
The first match which was played between GDC Udhampur and ASCOM Jammu was won by ASCOM Jammu which defeated its rival team by 3-1. For ASCOM, 1st goal was scored by Nikhil in 10th minute while 2nd and 3rd goals were scored by Usman and Wamiq in 52nd and 58th minute, respectively.
The only goal for GDC Udhampur was scored by Saksham in 3rd minute.
In another match, MBS College defeated its opponent MIET Jammu by 2-1. Both the goals for MBS College were scored by Tanveer in 23rd and 45th minute.
For MIET College, the only goal was pegged by Abhishek in 54th minute.
The matches were officiated by Vijay Kumar, Ricky, Gulshan Kumar, Dr Brij Baloria and Gagan Kumar.
