POONCH, Apr 4: Asking the cadre of National Conference to gear for the upcoming polls of Urban Local Bodies and Panchayats, Provincial Youth National Conference president Ajaz Jan said that the litmus test for PDP and BJP Government will be to address the core issues of the public.
In a meeting of the party cadre and leaders held in Poonch today the former MLA asked the party workers to reach out to the people and project their issues. The meeting was chaired by Ajaz Jan while a number of senior leaders from across the district took part in it.
While discussing the functioning of party, the NC leaders said that people from Poonch Haveli are regretting voting for PDP which has multiplied their miseries and problems. They said that the political representatives mostly remain missing.
They also asked party cadre to remain prepared for the ensuing polls of Local Body and Panchayats and said that NC is ready for a sweep in the polls which will prove the strong hold of party in the border area.
Jan further alleged that PDP has the main key of power at Nagpur and an `unstable coalition’ has again formed Government in the State. He said that solving the basic issues of public is the litmus test for both coalition parties as they have failed in this test in last 10 months.
