SRINAGAR, Mar 11: Genius Motor Sports Club, Khanyar intends to popularize the motor rally sport in the Kashmir valley and has plans to carry out awareness campaign in this respect as well.
Addressing a press conference here this afternoon, Syed Owais Miraj, Patron, Genius Motor Sports Club said that youth should devote their attention in sports and other co-curricular activities. Owais said that motor rally sport has gained popularity in the Kashmir valley and time has come when it should be given the fillip to reach the crescendo.
“Sports always bring out best in youth and as such it would be best for the youth to get engaged with the sporting activities. Our club would start the motor rally activities in the Kashmir valley and hopefully this would get a fillip with the passage of time. People more so youth should be active in sports so that they can bring name and fame to the state,” said Owais who is taken part in the All India Car Rally in the past.
