KISHTWAR, June 16: Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Kishtwar won first place in the ‘Quiz Contest’, organized by an NGO namely Positive Capacity Building Society Kishtwar at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, here today.
30 students including both boys and girls drawn from Government schools participated in this contest.
The second and third place was bagged by Government Boys Higher Secondary School Kishtwar.
A cash prize to the tune of rupees 6000 was distributed among the winners by the NGO.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Nazir Ahmed Shah, Masood Ahmed Bichoo, Manzoor Ahmed Mattoo and Abdul Latief.
Lok Nath Bhat, Chief Education Officer Kishtwar presided over the valedictory function, while Shabina Lousar, Lecturer was the judge.
