JAMMU, Dec 13: GGM Science College lifted the Inter-Collegiate Volleyball (Men) trophy, organised by Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) at Govt SPMR College of Commerce, here today.
Dr Twinkle Suri, DSW CLUJ was the chief guest in the opening ceremony and Dr Surinder Sharma, Principal SPMR College of Commerce was the guest of honour on the occasion and Dr Jatinder Khajuria, Registrar CLUJ was the chief guest of the valedictory function.
The competition was organised under the supervision of Aijaz Malik, Physical Director, SPMR College of Commerce and overall supervision of Dr Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator, CLUJ.
The 1st match was played between Govt MAM College and Govt SPMR College of Commerce in which MAM won the match by 2-0 sets, while the 2nd and final match was played between GGM Science College and Govt MAM College in which GGM Science College won the finals by 3-2 sets.
Yaseen Malik, Aryan Sudan, Ravinder Singh and Aman Kumar of MAM College and GGM Science College played an excellent game.
Dr Shafkat Jahangir, Prof Apfan Ali, Prof Archna Koul, Prof Sandhya Bhardwaj, Dr Roopali Slathia, Ramandeep Kralia, and Neelam Chalotra were present during the occasion. The match was officiated by Parminder and Aman.
