JAMMU, Mar 3 : GHS Pargwal and Hiranagar Volleyball Club registered emphatic win against their rivals in their semifinal matches and entered in final in the ongoing JKS Range level Sports Festival, being organized by Range Police Headquarters Jammu (under CAP) at Gulshan Ground, here today.
The JKS Range Sports festival is being organized under the overall supervision of Rafiq-Ul-Hassan, DIG Jammu, while the coordinator of the festival is Rajesh Gill, Chief Prosecuting Officer.
Earlier in the first match, GHS Akhnoor beat MRLD Burj Mandir by 2-0 (25-20,25-19), while in the second match GHS Pargwal defeated Singh Club Akhnoor by 2-0 (25-16, 25-18).
In the third match, Hiranagar Club drubbed Sadiyal Club Samba by 2-1 (25-17, 20-25 and 15-11).
In the first semifinal, GHS Pargwal trounced GHS Akhnoor by 2-0 ( 25-21, 25-17), while in the second semifinal, Hiranagar Club outplayed GDC kathua by 2-0 (25-19, 25-18).
The matches were officiated by Jagjeet Singh, Amit Sharma, Sahil Jamwal and Imtiaz Samad.
The final match will be played on March 5, 2018 between GHS Pargwal and Hiranagar Club.
