Zonal Level Patriotic Group Song Competition held

UDHAMPUR, Sept 30: Government High School (GHS) Sundla, Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Khoon and GHS Chore Motto emerged winners in the Zonal Level Patriotic Group Song Competition.
The competition was organized by Education Department under the chairmanship of Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Babey Jagan Nath Sundal in the premises of GGMS Khoon.
Principal GHSS Khoon Dharampal Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion, while Ex-Sarpanch Panchayat Palnoo Chain Singh and Principal Ayesha International School Khoon Reham Din were the guests of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal GHSS Khoon Dharampal Sharma stressed upon the teachers to motivate the students for participating in co-curricular activities for their all round development.
Jagan Nath, ZEO Babey also encouraged the students for their patriotic activities and bring the name of zone not only at district level but also at State and national level.
On the occasion, prominent persons of the locals and staff members of the participating schools were also present on the occasion.
Around 50 students from different schools of the Zone Babey participated in this zonal level competition.
On the occasion, Yash Paul Khajuria, a social worker also presented yoga skills.
A patriotic dogri song composed by Hushiar Singh, Teacher of GHS Sundla and dedicated to martyr Captain Tushar Mahajan, who sacrificed his life while fighting for the nation at Pampore on February 21 in 2016 was also sung by the students of GHSS Khoon.
Later, prizes were distributed among the winners by ZEO Babey Jagan Nath Sundal, chief guest and guests of honour.
Shankar Dass, Teacher GMS Upper Amwara and Hushiar Singh, Teacher GHS Sundla were the nodal officers of Zone Babey, who organized this competition.
