DODA, Nov 23: Government Higher Secondary School Assar today organised a scintillating function to celebrate Annual Day.
District Development Council (DDC) Chairman, Doda, Dhanantar Singh Kotwal was the chief guest on the occasion.
Students mesmerized the audience by presenting a variety of cultural programmes featuring folk dance, songs, skids and school Tarana, besides theme based skits.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC Chairman advised the students to opt for skill based subjects and avail the opportunities being provided by the Central government headed by Prime Minister Narinder Modi.
The Chairman stressed on the need to deal effectively with the threat of drug addiction which is more serious in nature. “Law implementing authorities should act strictly against those who are involved in drug smuggling,” he said.
The Chairman advised students to excel in various fields of education with full spirit and confidence to achieve success.
