SAMBA, Feb 24: Gover-nment Higher Secondary School, Purmandal, Samba, organized a function in collaboration with Uppal Trust (Purmandal) wherein a symposia on topic “How to make Purmandal popular”, was held.
Various students participated and expressed their views with special emphasis on the prohibition of cremation in front of main temple. Sudanshu Kesar, Vaishali Tangotia and Mohd Yaseen were adjusted as first, second and third respectively.
On the occasion, meritorious students of Board classes for session 2014-15 were given cash prizes by Uppal Trust.
J L Baru threw light on various issues regarding this topic while Principal GHSS Purmandal, Sudershan Kumari, also expressed her views regarding the importance of Devak river.
