JAMMU, Jan 6: Rajesh Gill, former Ranji player has been selected to represent Indian Veterans Cricket team in the World Cup, which is scheduled to be held at Cape Town, South Africa from March 5.
The selectors today announced the list of selected players for the World Cup on the basis of their performances, wherein Rajesh Gill is the lone player from Union Territory to represent the country in the aforesaid international event.
It needs to be mentioned here that Rajesh Gill performed well in the Inter Zonal Cricket Tournament held recently at Indore and he also performed with bat and ball in the Marlborough Cup held at England in the last year.
