JAMMU, July 15: A young girl, who was seriously injured in a mysterious fire at her temporary residence in Kathua district, today succumbed to her injuries in Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
The girl has been identified as Janvi (22) daughter of Chetu Ram, a resident of Chattisgarh (at present Kathua). She had received serious injuries in the fire that broke out at her residence on July 11. Since then she was battling for life at GMCH Jammu where she expired this afternoon.
The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conducting post mortem tomorrow. The concerned police has also taken cognizance of the matter.
