JAMMU, Feb 17: The body of a minor girl was found today in mysterious circumstances at her temporary residence in Arnia area of RS Pura Sector.
“The girl was identified as Rabina (15) daughter of Ram Lakha, a resident of Bihar, at present living in Arnia”, a police spokesman said, adding that the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the nearest Government hospital for conducting post mortem tomorrow.
A case in this connection was registered at police station Arnia and inquest proceedings initiated under Section 174 CrPC.
