JAMMU, Nov 8: Girls educational tour was flagged off from Batote today by General Officer Commanding, Counter Insurgency Force, Delta.
The tour comprising of 23 girls from remote villages of Bhadarwah Tehsil will visit Noida and Jaipur.
During the visit the tour will also visit Noida International University and Suresh Gyan Vihar University at Jaipur.
The tour is unique in a way that apart from visiting places of tourist and historical interest the girls would get an opportunity to know the educational and self development opportunities that exist in other parts of the country.
The tour aims to spread the message of peace and inspire the students to tread the path progress and development in J&K.
During the flag off ceremony, the General Officer Commanding interacted with the students and teachers and appreciated their enthusiasm and whole hearted support in organizing the tour.
