JAMMU, Dec 14: Selected by Jammu and Kashmir Handball Association and screened by Dr Gagandeep Singh of J&K Sports Council (JKSC), the Junior National (Girls) Handball team left for the participation in the 46th Junior Girls National Handball Championship here today. The national event shall take place at Varanasi (UP) from December 16 to 20.
The squad of selected team were Harman, Taniya Kumari, Taniya Looach, Ruhi, Taniya, Bharat, Deepakshi, Navdeep, Sohani Manhas, Sohani Puri, Palak, Shanaz, Bhavya, Palak, Shanaz, Urmiya, Surasha, Shalani, Muskan, Sahil Padha (Coach) and Sulekha Kundal (Manager).
Among those present at the time of screening were Dr Gagandeep Singh, Rajesh Chandan General Secretary JKHA, Sanjeev Singh Joint Secretary and Ashwani Raina (Member).
