HIRANAGAR, Feb 23: Government GLDM Degree College Hiranagar organized Annual Prize Distribution Function in College premises, here today.
Prof Nalini Kohli, Director Colleges was the chief guest, while Dr NK Gupta, Principal, Government Degree College Bani and Dr Avinash Gupta, president College Teachers’ Association were present on the occasion.
Chief guest along with senior faculty members released College News Letter ‘Pratibimb’ on the occasion.
The fuction began with the lighting of traditional lamp by the chief guest, which was followed by Saraswati Vandana by the students.
Various cultural items were presented by the students on the occasion, which included Dogri, Punjabi and Pahari dances.
College Principal, Dr Ram Krishan Sharma presented welcome address and annual report.
Later-on, chief guest distributed prizes among the meritorious students and staff of the college.
Finally, Prof Daya Vilas Khajuria presented vote of thanks.
