JAMMU, Dec 12: Dr Sudhaa Sharma, leading Gynecologist from Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu had the rare academic honour of attending International Congress on Challenges in Women’s Health, organised jointly by International and Indian Menopause Society in Mumbai.
Addressing the conference as faculty members and guest speakers, Dr Sharma highlighted the history and role of stem cells as well as scope of stem cell therapy in different gynecological disorders especially during menopause.
Nearly 50 doctors/experts attended the conference as eminent resource faculty.
An original scientific research paper `Anti-hypersensitive Drug Prescription Patterns, Rationality and Adherence to JNC-7 Hypertension Treatment Guidelines among Indian Postmenopausal Women’ authorized by Dr Vishal R Tandon, Dr Sudhaa Sharma and Dr Annil Mahajan, HoD Medicines was presented in the international conference. Dr Mahajan had the honour of chairing a scientific session during the international congress.
