CHANDIGARH, Oct 31: Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 37 B routed Vivek High School of Sector 38 by 5-0 in the boys under-19 final of the Chandigarh Inter-School Football Tournament conducted by the Education Department at the Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 22A ground here today.
Jatinder opened the account for GMSSS-37 with a fine goal in the 10th minute. Harsharan pelted 2 goals in the 18th and 30th minutes to make it (3-0).
The GMSSS-37 team dominated the final and Mohit (40th) and Praseej (45th) added one goal each to increase their team’s victory margin.
Earlier, St Soldier International School, Sector 28 defeated PML SD School 32 by 2-0 in a match to decide the third and fourth positions.
Sumit Dhankar ( 22nd) and Anuj Yadav (30th) were the goal scorers.
