GNPS Dalhousie holds counseling session for students

JAMMU, Feb 22: Guru Nanak Public School (GNPS) Dalhousie conducted a counseling session for the students and their parents here today.
A large number of students along with their parents attended the session. The session was made very interesting by focusing on critical reasoning. The students as well as their parents were given in depth information about the GNPS Dalhousie and its salient features.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal, Capt NS Bhandari said that today GNPS stands as one of the best educational institutions in the area with its innovative and beneficial approach towards the cause of education.
“GNPS has a present strength of close to 900 students being imparted education by well qualified and dedicated faculties. GNPS has always been a challenge to compete with. It is the school which provides space to inhabitants of its environ to discipline themselves, develop to their fullest potential, breathe in a homely atmosphere and learn to survive in this fight for the fittest”, he said adding the school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
Present on the occasion, vice president of School, Dr Sandeep Rana, said that inter house activities are held as per the planner of the school. Music classes, classical dance classes and Jazz dance classes are a regular feature of the school.
He said that activity clubs such as Karate club, Yoga club, Art & Craft club, Funny readers club, music club, body building club, etc are fully functional in the school, where personality development is treated with utmost importance while educating the students. “The students are also regularly taken for treks, nature walks, picnics and excursions”, he added.
