Goa gets its first International Umpire in Table Tennis

PANAJI, July 30: Goa has got its first International Umpire in Table Tennis     Goa’s Joash Eusebio Mendonca, resident of Chorao, has successfully completed the “ITTF International Umpires Exam” and has now qualified as an “International Umpire”.

An active player in Goan TT circuit, Joash’s feats include representing Goa few times at the SGFI Nationals and winning multiple Inter School & University medals and titles.

He had previously officiated as an Umpire at the 79th Cadet and Sub Junior Nationals (Goa); 81st Junior and Youth Nationals (Jammu); and 81st Senior National Championship (Telangana) in recent years, apart from numerous State level ranking tournaments.  Joash is the 1st Goan to achieve the honours.
