GOC 15 Corps awards APS Srinagar for excellence

SRINAGAR, Feb 6:  For its all-round sterling performance in both academic and extra-curricular fields and earning accolades in achieving new highs of excellence during the last four years, the GOC 15 Corps, Lt General, Gurmit Singh today awarded cash prize of Rs 50,000 to the Principal of Army Public School (APS), Srinagar, Sandeep Marattha.
Applauding the Principal and school staff GOC observed that the attainment of the school during the last four years are commendable. He recognized the commitment and hard work of the Principal in bringing laurels to the school in all fields.
He also mentioned the steps taken by the Principal for bringing significant changes, modifications, new approaches, efficiency and quality delivery in the school.
Lt Gen 15 Corps also appreciated and felicitated Mr Marhatta for innovative process and procedure introduced in Army Public School, Srinagar which had positive effect on the development and growth of school besides on the welfare of the staff and betterment of the students. He also lauded the talent of the students and hard work of the teachers to make the school extra-ordinary in all fields.
The patron of the School, Maj Gen P D Khullar, Chairman Brig K K Pant in their observations on the occasion highlighted the significant progress of the school and said “it is indeed a movement of pride and pleasure for the school to receive honour for hard work and excellence.
