The company is also in the process of locating new venues for expansion of manufacturing capacity besides its Vikhroli facility in Mumbai.
Recently, GSS obtained ‘certification of quality’ from the American and the European agencies and expects more countries to evince interest in Godrej’s products.
The company also plans to increase its retail footprint in the country.
“As of now, there are 21 branches, 650 dealers with a Pan India presence and 2,500 retail outlets to cover Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns. Before end of this fiscal, we expect this to go up to 700 dealers and over 3,000 retail outlets across the country,” Gokhale said.
On the new products, he said, they have launched video door phones with features such as two way audio communication in two variants in the price range of Rs 8,000-15,000 and 15 wireless alarm systems with LCD display and 15 zone sensor panels. (PTI)
