JAMMU, Dec 8: G D Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust has been accredited with the British Council International School Award (ISA) for the period of 2014-2017.
The Senior Co-ordinator of the School, Kavita Singh represented the School and received the prestigious award in the ‘School Awards Ceremony’ held on December 4, 2014 in New Delhi.
The British Council International School Award (ISA) is a benchmarking scheme that accredits schools as having an outstanding level of support for nurturing global citizenship in young people and enriching teaching and learning.
Schools across the world are grappling with the challenge of providing relevant education in a face of rapid technological advancements that are changing the way we live and work.
The Principal of the School, Dr R P Singh expressed his gratitude to the British Council for having selected G D Goenka Public School for the prestigious award, while the Director of the School, Sanya Bansal applauded the Goenkan team for achieving the pinnacle.
