JAMMU, Oct 26: GD Goenka Public School, Jammu, governed by Om Prakash Charitable Trust in collaboration with Dr Seema Rohmetra, local Coordinator, Gandhi Peace Foundation, organized Dengue Awareness Campaign in its School premises, here.
The organizers said that the Campaign has been launched to make people aware about the symptoms of this dreadful disease as it so often goes undiagnosed for a long period of time, which results in worsening of the patient’s condition and proves fatal.

“In a small proportion of cases the disease develops into life-threatening dengue hemorrhagic fever, resulting in bleeding, low levels of blood platelets and blood plasma leakage,” said Dr Arbab.
