Goenkan represents State in Asian Taekwondo C’ship

JAMMU, July 22: Soham Sharma of GD Goenka Public School, Jammu, governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust has represented the State and the Country in the Asian Taekwondo Championship held in Amman, Jordan, recently.
The selection trials were conducted on June 27, 2019 wherein serious aspirants across the country tried their fortunes and the selected ones brought laurels to their respective States. Soham Sharma is one of those handful players, who represented the State of J&K in this prestigious tournament.
The promising and talented little champ displayed incredible passion for the game, while he started practising under the able guidance of his coach Atul Pangotra (International Taekwondo Referee) at the age of 7.
Soham has participated in more than 30 State & National Championships, wherein he has won more than 20 Gold medals, not to talk of silver and bronze medals.
The Principal, Rajesh Rathore wished Soham a great time ahead and applauded the untiring efforts of the coach to make him shine.
