JAMMU, Mar 22: The students of G D Goenka Public School, Jammu excelled in the Science Olympiad Foundation conducted by the National Science Olympiad.
The Goenkans sparkled in the second round of Science and Maths Olympiad. Students who won gifts worth Rs 1000 each and merit certificates included Vaibhav Dhar (Class III), Aryan Raina (Class III), Utkarsh Gupta (Class III), Dhriti Gupta (Class III), Krish Mahajan (Class III), Ananya Sethi (Class III), Aryan Raina (Class III), Sarthak Kotwal (Class IV), Shivansh Pandita (Class IV), Sehan Sopori (Class VII), Anirudh Nagpal (Class VII) , Niranjan Sharma (Class VII) and Ayam Sharma (Class VIII).
Principal of the School, Jyoti Asija lauded the efforts of the students for this achievement and encouraged them to always uphold the Goenkan Motto higher, stronger and brighter.
It is pertinent to mention here that Science Olympiad has led a revolution in Science education and what began as a grassroot assembly of Science teachers is now one of the premier science competitions in the nation.
