JAMMU, May 19: GD Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust participated for the first time in the 11th J&K State Wushu Championship, organized by J&K Wushu Association at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here.
Twenty (20) students participated in the Championship and won 2 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medals. The winners included Choudhary Zulkar Nain, Tarandeep Singh, Danish Kumar, Ansh Sharma, Vansh Parihar, Tanish Mehta, Shivam Chouhan and Ayushman Jamwal.
They were trained under the guidance of their coach, Danish Padha, while Abhijeet Singh Chib accompanied them as team manager.
The Principal of the School, Dr RP Singh lauded the efforts of the students for this achievement.
