JAMMU, June 25: Rattan Chand Sharma, father of Daily Excelsior Special Correspondent Gopal Sharma passed away this evening after a brief illness at his residence 87, Indira Colony, Janipura, Jammu.
He is survived by his wife Satya Devi, son Gopal Sharma and other members of the family.
Cremation will take place at Jogi Gate Cremation Ground at 12.30 pm on June 26.
Excelsior Management and staff held a condolence meeting in the office this evening to condole the sad demise of Rattan Chand Sharma. They extended condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
