JAMMU, Dec 28: Players exhibit talent on the Day-4 of the ongoing 45th J&K State Badminton Championship, being organized by J&K Badminton Association at MA Stadium, here today.
In U-10 Boys Singles, Gopesh Singh beat Harsh Sharma and lifted the title trophy.
In U-13 Boys Singles, Sarthak Jain beat Udhyan and Bhavdeep Singh defeated Vaibhav Mehta, whereas in Girls Singles, Snowy Goswani beat Skiedeep Kour and won the title trophy.
In U-15 Boys Singles, Aesh Goswami beat Ayush and Sidharth beat Vaibhav Mehta, whereas in Girls Singles, Unnati Jaral beat Sambhvi Rajput and won the title trophy.
In U-17 Boys Singles, Aesh Goswami beat Dheeraj Sharma and Yashdeep Singh lost to Sehdev Singh, whereas in Girls Singles, Poorvi Singh will take on Rashmi Kashyap in the final.
In U-19 Boys Singles, Aesh Goswami beat Sehdev Singh and Yashdeep Singh lost to Nakul Vaid, whereas in Girls Singles, Poorvi Singh defeated Rashmi Kashyap and won the title trophy.
In U-13 Boys Doubles, Sarthak and Bhavdeep beat Akash and Anirudh, whereas Aneesh and Jaskaran lost to Udhyan and Vaibhav, whereas in U-15 Boys Doubles, Ayush and Dheeraj beat Mreedul and Sidharth and won the title.
In U-17 Boys Doubles, Prajwal and Dheeraj beat Yashdeep and Sehdev and won the title, whereas in Girls Doubles, Unnati and Poorvi beat Rashmi and Pranjal and won the title.
In U-19 Boys Doubles, Yashdeep and Sehdev beat Dheeeraj and Prajwal and won the title.
In U-19 Mixed Doubles, Rashimi and Aryan beat Nakul and Unnati and lifted the title trophy.
In Mens Singles, Aesh Goswami beat Akshay Mahajan, Raghav Dogra beat Sahil Verma, Majeev-ul-Rehman lost to Divum Gupta and Munish Sharma lost to Vipul Saini.
In Womens Singles, Rabia lost to Poorvi Singh, Rashmi Kashyap beat Vaishnavi Sharma.
In Senior Mixed Doubles, Sunil and Poorvi lost to Harsh and Peehushi.
The matches were officiated by Satpal Sharma and Amir Aslam.
Among others present were Mohammad Irfan, Vice President, JKBA, Anil Gurkha, Dr OD Sharma, Chairman, J&K Badminton Association and Balbir Jamwal General Secretary JKBA.
The closing ceremony and prize distribution function will be held tomorrow, informed Balbir Jamwal, General Secretary JKBA.
