SRINAGAR, Sept 13: Governor N.N. Vohra has expressed grief over the sad demise of Muhammad Ahsan Ahsan, a noted literary personality.
In a message, Governor has prayed for peace to the departed soul and wished the bereaved family the strength to bear the sad loss.
Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has also condoled the demise of noted literary activist.
In her condolence message, the Chief Minister recalled the vociferous activism of the deceased for the protection of Kashmiri language and culture. “His absence from the literary scene would be felt for long”, the Chief Minister, who is also the President of J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages, said in her statement.
Mehbooba Mufti has conveyed her sympathies with the bereaved family of late Ahsan.
