JAMMU, Mar 15: Governor N. N. Vohra and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today greeted the people on Holi, and hoped that the festival of colours would be a harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
In his message of felicitations, the Governor observed that the celebration of festivals, an important part of our rich cultural heritage, strengthens the bonds of brotherhood, love and amity. He expressed the hope that Holi would spread happiness and joy all around and further promote harmony and brotherhood.
Wishing a happy Holi to the people, the Governor prayed for their well-being and prosperity.
In a felicitation message, Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has wished happiness and well being to the people.
The Chief Minister expressed the hope that the day would be harbinger for peace, development and progress of the State and the country.
