Governor, CM greet people on Navratras, Navreh

JAMMU, Mar 27: Governor N. N. Vohra has conveyed his greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Navratras and Navreh and prayed for their well-being and prosperity.
In his message, the Governor observed that the Navratras have a special importance for the lakhs of pilgrims who visit the Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Deviji during this holy period to seek blessings of the Goddess.
The Governor extended warm greetings also to all Kashmiri Pandits who celebrate this auspicious day as Navreh, the beginning of the New Year and the onset of spring.
The Governor prayed that this propitious occasion will become the harbinger of harmony, brotherhood, amity, peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has also greeted people of the State on the occasion of Navreh and commencement of Navratras.
In her message of felicitation, the Chief Minister said these occasions symbolize the composite culture of the State. She prayed for communal harmony, brotherhood, peace and prosperity for the people in the State.
