JAMMU, Nov 27: N.N. Vohra, Governor released, at the Raj Bhavan here today, “Dogri Upnayasein Ch Varg Sangarsh” a book authorized by Dr. Chanchal Bhasin. The book analyses class struggle as mentioned in different Dogri novels. The Governor complimented Dr. Bhasin for her writing and hoped that she would continue her contribution towards the enrichment of Dogri literature.
The Governor suggested publication of a half yearly newsletter which contains information about all Dogri language works brought out in the preceding months. For wide dissemination of significant literary work, the Governor advised their introduction in all the school, college and district libraries in the State.
Present on the occasion were Rakesh K. Gupta, Principal Secretary to the Governor, Prof. Nilamber Dev Sharma, Prof. Shashi Pathania, Prof. Veena Gupta, Prof. Lalit Magotra, Joginder Chhatrapal, Prof. Shiv Dev Singh Manhas, Dr. Jitendra Udhampuri and Shailender Singh.
