JAMMU, Mar 8: The Government today clarified that following apportionment of manpower between Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh, the promotions/appointments in Jammu and Kashmir shall be considered against the posts allocated to UT of J&K only.
An order to this effect was issued by Principal Secretary General Administration Department (GAD) Manoj Kumar Dwivedi.
“The posts allocated to the UT of Ladakh shall be excluded considering any such exercise except for the services falling under the ambit of SO dated December 21, 2021,” the order read.
It said the employees apportioned to the UT of Ladakh shall be excluded from seniority list/eligibility list and such employees shall not be considered for promotions in the UT of J&K with effect from 15.11.2021.
