JAMMU, Dec 22: The Government has asked the Administrative Secretaries to issue show cause notice to defaulting employees of their respective departments who are not marking their biometric attendance upon arrival as well as departure as per the noticed office hours.
“The list of all defaulting Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs), who have drawn salaries of employees without satisfactory bio-metric attendance of employees under their control, be furnished to the General Administration Department (GAD) by December 25,” an order issued by the GAD said today.
It said Nodal Officers of the concerned departments should be directed by the Administrative Secretaries to update details of all such employees who have been transferred from their respective departments and inactivate the IDs of all employees who have retired from services or expired.
