Govt forms Scrutinizing Committee for award of exemplary service during floods

JAMMU, Oct 13:  For award of bravery and exemplary service during recent floods in Jammu and Kashmir, the State Government has constituted a Scrutinizing Committee.
The five-member committee, headed by Chief Secretary as its chairman, will identify the persons, organizations, NGOs and various stake holders, who have exhibited exemplary service by rescuing people from the recent floods in Jammu and Kashmir.
Besides Principal Secretary to the CM and Secretary GAD, other two members of the committee are Principal Secretaries of Home Department and Planning & Development Department.
