JAMMU, Dec 9: Govt MAM College lifted Inter-collegiate Fencing Men and Women titles, organised by Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) at Govt College of Education, here today.
Prof Anju Bala, Associate Professor in Mathematics was the chief guest and Dr Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator Cluster University of Jammu and Physical Director, GGM Science College was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Dr Deep Kumar was the special guest. The competition was organised under the supervision of Ramandeep Kralia, Physical Director, GCOE Jammu and overall supervision of Dr Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator, CLUJ.
In the men’s section Govt MAM College remained 1st by securing 17 points, while Govt SPMR College of Commerce remained on 2nd by clinching 3 points and GGM Science College remained 3rd with 2 points.
In the women’s section, Govt MAM College remained 1st by securing 18 points, while GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu remained 2nd by bagged 12 points and Govt SPMR College of Commerce remained 3rd with 6 points.
Prof Jyoti Parihar, Dr Mansi Sharma, Prof Seema Kumari, Prof Shapia Shameem, Prof Sarita Dogra, Prof Vinay Lata, Prof Neeraj Verma, Prof Satinder Kumari, Aijaz Malik, Physical Director SPMR College of Commerce, Dr Roopali Slathia, Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar and Neelam Chalotra, Assistant Physical Director Govt. MAM College Jammu were among the dignitaries present during the occasion.
The match was officiated by Anthony Matto and Saniya Arora.
