JAMMU, Nov 13: The Government today modified the transfer order of two KAS officers within hours of issuance.
Arun Kumar Manhas, Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), who was last night transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar in place of Rajinder Singh Tara, was today retained at his original place of posting, an official order said.
In place of Manhas, the Government ordered posting of Ashok Kumar Sharma, Additional DC Ramban, as the DC Kishtwar.
Few months back also, Manhas was transferred and posted as MD Housing Board but his order was modified on the very next day.
Tara was last night posted as Director Command Area Development Jammu.
