JAMMU, Oct 28: For facilitating the execution of mining leases, UT Government today re-constituted District Level Single Window Committee for each district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Headed by the Deputy Commissioner concerned, the District Level committee shall issue necessary clearance on behalf of all concerned agencies within 30 days, which may extend to 45 days in exceptional circumstances for reasons to be recorded in writing.
The stakeholding departments shall designate a Nodal Officer for each district for issuance of the NOCs in this behalf and the committee shall place the matter before the concerned Divisional Commissioner in case of any delay for resolution.
Additional Deputy Commissioner is Convener of the committee while ACR, Divisional forest Officer, District Soil conservation Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Executive Engineers of I&FC Department, Jal Shakti Department, PWD and PDD, Assistant Director Tourism, District Officer, Pollution Control Board, district Mineral Officer, wildlife Warden (concerned and Assistant Director, Fisheries are its Members.
