Govt teacher caught imparting tuition as CEO raids

UDHAMPUR, June 8: A Government school teacher was caught red handed while imparting tuition as the Chief Education Officer, Udhampur today raided some Coaching-cum-Tuition Centres in the town.
The raids were conducted following numerous complains that the Government teachers were providing their service in the private tuition centres despite a ban on the same.
During the raid in a tuition centre near Kamal Sweet Shop, Hospital Road, a Government teacher, namely Munish Kumar, posted at Government HSS (Boys) Udhampur, was found  giving tuitions to the 90 students of Class 10th.
According to the CEO Bishan Singh, the erring teachers has been served a show cause notice and asked to explain the reason why no action should be taken against him for running un-authorized tuition centre.
