JAMMU, Sept 13:  BJP State president and MLA Sat Sharma today said that Government agencies will act tough against those forces who are involved in receiving terror funding from across the border and will not allow the separatists and antinational elements to have a monopoly in this State.
Addressing the Balidan Divas function organized by BJP Displaced District here, today to pay tributes to Tika Lal Taploo,  Pt Prem Nath Bhat and other martyrs who laid down their lives for the national integration and unity said martyr Taploo’s life was inspiring for all nationalist people in the State. While paying glowing tributes to this great son of Kashmir, he said Taploo was in real sense Sher-e-Kashmir a roaring lion who was always a threat to the anti national elements working in the State. “We should follow his principles and rededicate ourselves in service of the nation”, he added.
Sharma, while showing total solidarity with the Kashmiri Pandits leading an exiled life for last 28 years now said that BJP is committed to return of the community on its own terms and conditions. “BJP is totally with the nationalist people in the State and that is the reason I took up the issue of the community including the resettlement of the PM package employees in the Valley with Union Home Minister demanding proper security and other facilities to them”, he added.
Paying tributes to Taploo, Prem Nath Bhat and other martyrs  BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar said that exodus of Kashmiri Pandits was because of civilizational onslaught. It was not only the result of local terrorism but a part of conspiracy hatched by Pan Islamic countries in which the General Rubani and Gulbadin Hikmatiar of Afghanistan were also involved in training the terrorists to launch a war against India in Kashmir.
Ashok Koul BJP general secretary (Org) while paying tributes to all martyrs who laid their lives in Kashmir for the cause of nation recalled his association with martyr Taploo and said that he was a “nationalist” par excellence. He could never compromise on the question of “Bharat” and Kashmir being an integral part of it. He was a skilled and gifted lawyer, but never did he use his skill for commercial gains, Koul added.
He said Pandits faced onslaughts since 1931 and became the targets in 1947, 1961 while the 1987 communal riots in Kashmir was a signal which culminated into mass exodus of the community in 1989 and 90. He however reiterated that BJP and entire nation is solidly with this peace loving community.
M L C Girdhari Lal Rain in his speech said that Tika Lal Taploo was a fearless volunteer of his motherland, who backed by his sincerity honesty and a lion’s heart believed in the greatness of India and its people. .Tika Lal was a brave leader and great nationalist who became an eyesore for the anti national forces, he added. He was so bold that even the assassin could not face him and shot him from behind, Raina added.
Chand Jee Bhat president BJP displaced district said  “Tika Lal Taploo” was a fearless, transparent, honest and an upright politician who never succumbing to any pressures but acted as per his principals.
Ashtosh Taploo son of  Tika Lal Taploo while in tears said many years have passed, since this cowardly act; the entire Hindu Community and all the nationalist elements in the Valley have been forced out of the wailing Valley.
Ravinder Kumar Raina,  vice president BJP Displaced District proposed vote of thanks. Kamal Warikoo Vice President of Yuva Morcha compared the whole programme.
Rich tributes to martyrs were also paid by Panun Kashmir led by Vijay Bhat who said that their sacrifices will never go waste as Pandits will surely return to their homeland one day.
