Govt’s priority is to develop rural areas: Jugal

JAMMU, Mar 18: Government’s first priority is to develop the rural areas.
This was stated by Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament (MP) BJP Lok Sabha from Jammu-Poonch constituency during his visit to villages Pathwar, Ponthal and Bhatyari. He also held public meeting at Bhatyari in Nagrota constituency.
Sharma said that the Government is working on the agenda of “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas”. The people of Ponthal put froth their genuine demand for construction of road.
MP listened to the demand of village Ponthal, Pathwar, Korga and Bhatyari and directed the administration to make necessary arrangements to sort the problems.
He directed the concerned staff to make project for construction of road from Kalyar to Taryar via Pathwar and send the same to the higher authorities for approval so that the construction work of road is executed at the earnest.
He added that the water, electricity and the road are the basic amenities and it is the responsibility of the Government to fulfill them by putting the best efforts.
Executive Engineer PWD Rajan Mengi, Executive Engineer PHE Rural Rajesh Gupta, Executive Engineer PDD Neelam Kumar Singh along with their staff and senior BJP Leader Om Parkash, Vikas Gupta, Uttam Singh, Balkrishan, Baldev Singh, Mansa Ram, Vijay Kumar, Sansar Singh and many others were present on the occasion.
