Goyal to review rail projects today

JAMMU, Dec 14: Railways Minister Piyush Goyal will hold high-level review of all railway projects in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow afternoon including long awaited Katra-Banihal rail line which will link the Kashmir valley with rest of the country by train.
Official sources told the Excelsior that Goyal will reach here tomorrow morning and visit the holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi Ji.
In the afternoon, he will review progress of all railway projects in Jammu and Kashmir including Katra-Banihal rail line, which has missed several deadlines.
This will be the first visit of the Railways Minister to Jammu and Kashmir after it became the Union Territory.
Sources said top Railways officials will also accompany Goyal from New Delhi.
