Green Field Jammu beats Singh Cricket Akhnoor Club by 8 runs

JAMMU, Nov 17: Green Field Jammu (GFJ) defeated Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor by 8 runs in the Under-14 Friendship Cup match at Govt Higher Secondary School Akhnoor. GFJ, after winning the toss, set a target of 159, scoring 158/9 in 25 overs. Viraj top-scored with 44 runs, while Satyam contributed 22.
Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor managed 150/9 stipulated 25 overs, in reply, with Akash leading the charge with 68 runs. Despite a late fight, they fell short by 8 runs. Ridham Sharma was the star of the match, taking 4 wickets to secure victory for GFJ.
Man of the Match: Ridham Sharma for his exceptional bowling performance. Senior cricketer Sameer Khajuria (JKCA) inaugurated the match and motivated young cricketers to focus on both academics and fitness. The match was organized by Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor under the guidance of Sham Singh Langeh, the club president.
