SRINAGAR, Dec 5: Green Valley Educational Institute emerged overall winner in the District Srinagar Athletic Championship organized by Srinagar Athletic Association under the aegis of J&K Athletic Association and sponsored by J&K State Sports Council at Bakshi Stadium, here.
Mir Ajmal was declared fastest Athlete, whereas in girls section Insha Wadoo from Women College was announced best athlete of the Championship.
On the occasion, Abdul Majeed, Ex-Manager Sports Stadium Bandipora and Indumeet Singh, vice president JKAA distributed prizes and trophies among the winners.
Speaking on occasion Indumeet informed that a total of 260 boys and girls from different clubs, schools and colleges participated in the Championship in sub-junior, junior and senior categories.
