JAMMU, Mar 2: The J&K UT Administration today ordered constitution of an Internal Grievances Committee to look into the service related grievances of the Scheduled Tribe employees of of various departments.
As per an order issued today by the General Administration Department, Commissioner / Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department will be the Chairperson of the Committee, Secretary to the Govt, Tribal Affairs Deptt as Member Secretary while Director Tribal Affairs/ Social Welfare, Additional Secretary to the Govt (GAD) and Secretary, J&K Advisory Board for Development of Gujjars and Bakerwals, as Members of the Committee.
The Committee shall examine the complaints of ST employees, regarding roster maintenance, discrimination in promotion, transfers etc and shall submit a report to the Chief Secretary.
