TANGMARG, Mar 17: Continuing his public outreach, National Conference leader Farooq Ahmad Shah today held scores of public interactions in a vast area of Lalpora and Chukar in Tangmag .
On the occasion, hundreds of political workers of different parties from these areas also joined NC and pledged full support to Shah.
Addressing the people, Farooq Shah asked people to vote for change and said Omar Abdullah led National Conference was the pan J&K party which has its footprints and support in all the three regions of the State. “NC is committed to bring development in the State and people have realised that only this party is the true representative of them”, he added.
Speaking about the Tangmarg constituency, Shah said, “Tangmarg constituency is so near to summer capital in distance but far away from the political empowerment during last one decade”, adding “now the time has changed and people of this constituency would feel the change in coming times”.
Shah said the constituency would be extremely important in the modern political landscape of the State given its geopolitical position. He said that tourism was the one of the major tools that would be utilised to project Gulmarg Constituency worldwide which would attract economic boom in the area. He said boosting economy would not only improve the life style of the locals but also bring job opportunities.
Shah was accompanied by senior local NC leaders including Ghulam Mohi ud Din who during his address pledged full support to him and the party.
