UDHAMPUR, May 19: In connection with the long pending demand of the people of villages Kigi Talayee, Parnara, Upper Ser, Pipal, Trella, Thnoa, Bapli, Loat, Khalge, Upper Bhagpur and Madhote an extension counter of ration depot was sanctioned at village Kigi Talyee which was inaugurated by MLA Udhampur, Pawan Gupta today.
A function was organized in the village on the occasion by social activist Sushil Singh Sethi which was attended by a large number of people. While addressing the function Sushil Singh Sethi disclosed that from last many decades ration card holders of about 15 villages were bound to get food grains from existing ration Depot at Jaganoo by travelling five to 10 kilometers on foot.
He said that during Assembly elections MLA Pawan Gupta has promised with the voters that he will provide them relief if he was elected to the State Assembly and now 1200 ration card holder families are jubilant for the opening of extension counter of ration depot at Kigi Talyee a centre place of 15 villages.

In his address Pawan Gupta expressed that his priority is to deliver the goods to his voters at their door steps. He assured the people that black topping on Jaganoo to Tarmara road will be completed in the running financial year, 25 KV transformer in Kigi Talyee village will installed very soon and construction of tractor road from Tarmara to Allan, Gujar Basti will be initiated from his CDF.
Pawan Gupta has disclosed that during coming budget Session of Assembly his priority will be to highlight the burning issues of Jammu region those are being ignored by present PDP – BJP State Government.
Raj Kumar Bucha, Rohit Sethi, Navneet Gupta, Raj Mohd Chandail, Jeevan Sharma, Aditya Gupta, Amar Chand, Kartar Chand, Kamloo Ram, Rattan Chand, Rash Pal, Sadhu Ram, Puja Devi, Geeta Devi, Kartar Chand, Uttam Chand, Bansi Lal and Vijay Kumar were prominent among others present in inaugural function.
