JAMMU, June 17: In the context of developing Jammu East as a Model Constituency MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta today inaugurated various works in the Constituency completed at an estimated cost of Rs 30 lakh in a record time.
The MLA inaugurated lanes in Afgana Gali, Wade Bede Wali Gali, Sehgal Gali, Khilone Wali Gali,Peepal Wali Gali ,Advocate Subhash Dutt Wali Gali, Arya Samaj Wali Gali and Oriental Academy Wali Gali. Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that it is also in a single day that eight lanes have been inaugurated. Jammu East truly personifies the developmental agenda of the Prime Minister said Rajesh Gupta.
The officers who accompanied the MLA included Health Officer of JMC Dr. Zafar Iqbal, CTO Talat Mohd., AEE Electrical, Suresh Gupta, AEE Zubair among others. On the spot instructions were also issued for the installation of water coolers and street lights in all the lanes inaugurated today.
BJP Mahila Morcha president Poornima Sharma was also present on the occasion. Leaders of the Pacca Danga Traders Association led by its President Harish Gupta, Ramneek and Dharampal were high praise for the fast track development agenda of Rajesh Gupta.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that he will not rest until he transforms the picture of his Constituency. Beautification of the heritage bazaars is already under way and in the days to come more and more projects would be rolled out on the ground.
