JAMMU, Sept 13: Since the announcement of Rs 2100 crore by the Central Government to the State not even a single penny has been transfered to the departments which have suffered losses due to the floods.
In a statement issued by Dogra Front and Shiv Sena said that 1540 transformers have been damaged in the Jammu province due to which most of the Jammu region is under darkness and due to the heavy rainfall the roads have been washed away due to which there is no connectivity.
Mr Ashok Gupta, president, Shiv Sena stated that some area in Kashmir is still under the floods, but in Jammu the floods have created lot of havoc and the loss need to be assessed to build the infrastructure.
